1. Conceptual differences

Automatic deposit and withdrawal machine (ATM) is a kind of electronic equipment for customers to carry out self-service. It has the functions of deposit, withdrawal, query balance, modify password and so on. It is a new type of bank computer terminal.

ATM, or automatic teller machine, refers to a small machine set up by the bank in different locations, using a plastic card the size of a credit card to record the customer's basic account information (usually bank card), so that the customer can withdraw money through the machine, transfer and other banking counter services, most customers call this self-service machine ATM.

2. Functional differences

The automatic deposit and withdrawal machine has the deposit function, but the ATM machine does not have the deposit function. You can't make deposits at the ATM. Only the machines that support deposits can make deposits.
